Silver
Falls State Park is located 26 miles east of Salem, Oregon. The
park is a waterfall lover's paradise with ten major waterfalls
accessible from a 7-mile wooded loop trail with three spurs.
Trails pass behind four of the waterfalls. The largest of Oregon's
state parks, Silver Falls has significant developed facilities
including a swimming beach above South Falls on South Silver
Creek.
The photographs were taken by traversing the loop trail and two spur trails
starting at the North Falls parking lot. The time of the year was mid-August,
so the flows are moderate to low. |
