Paradise and Paradise Inn are located
in the south central region of the the park. Paradise is characterized
by high meadows with profuse wildflower blooms in the summer and world-record
level snow depths in the winter. Paradise has many hiking trails and
is the most crowded region of the park in summer. The most famous of
these trails is Skyline Trail, the subject of a separate gallery. Activities
center around the Jackson Visitor Center, a nice facility, although
quite incongruous with the environment.
